Customised Language Development

In company teaching

As an in-company trainer in Italy, the language teacher generally travels to different companies on different days of the week for lessons that are usually held in company meeting rooms or offices.

Language Development

Teaching language in a business context can be described as “an educational process which involves the sharpening of skills, concepts, changing of attitude and gaining more knowledge to enhance the performance of employees through the use of language”. Classes are usually 90 minutes to 2 hours long, although on occasion, there are intensive days of 6-10 hours, especially for courses dealing with specific soft skills such as Presentation English or Negotiations in English. Classes do not usually contain more than 6 students.

Teaching in public schools

Language teaching in public schools spans all ages, starting with scuola materna for children from 3 to 6 years.  The Scuola Elementary is for children aged between 6 and 11. The Scuola Media (11-14) and the scuola superiore from 14 to 18.

Language Development

Teaching languages introduces pupils to other cultures and improves their communication skills.  A language  can also give them an edge when applying to study a wide range of degree courses at university. In addition, languages will prepare them to compete in a global jobs market. In fact, many employers say they need their employees to have some foreign language skills.

So as a languages teacher you’ll not only be providing pupils the chance to become fluent in another language, you’ll be providing them a solid platform from which they can succeed in life.
